This is for all my old school heads. While diggin in the crates I happen to come across some albums that took me back to my high school days, and college days. Nore dropping Norealty in September

nore.jpg

Nore’s back at it again, trying to wipe away the Reggaeton from his slate and resume running laps around the english channel.

Let me stop playing I actually like that first Reggaeton song he did that went mainstream, dont remember what it was called. Nore is still a top dog and he is releasing this album through Babygrande. Babygrande is another one of those underground labels that’s putting out quality product, so check them out too…..HHFanatic

P.s. Dont Forget to check out/download the Nore/Green Lantern mixtape from the quick news section in the upper right hand corner of the home page. I havent listened to it yet, is it any good?

Wu Tang is for the Children: “Wu-Tang Revealed” trailer

A documentary that you must see by decree. Will we ever see another group that has the impact Wu-Tang did? You could argue for some of these newer labels/groups (G-Unit, Rocafella, Dipset e.t.c) but aside from the fact that the Wu set up the infrastructure for the way of the hiphop movement, will these more recent movements stand the test of time like the Wu has? I dont think so, cause Wu Tang was making soul music and there was too much artistry and meaning behind the movement. Same goes for Boot Camp Clik. A lot of the movements today are only about making money.

I sound like an angry ol dude and Im not even that old. “Back in my day…..” Peace. …….HHFanatic

UPDATE: “Wu-Tang Revealed” is a tell-all DVD featuring footage of the Clan dating back to the ninties produced by the GZA

Tailb Kweli, Big Shug and Pharoahe Monch (I can never spell that shit right) go off the top on Primo’s Satelite radio show.

Listen *here*

Like I said in an earlier post, satelite is where quality hiphop radio lives.

Talib does his thing in this one. Talib been real serious lately. It seems like he smoothed out his flow over the past year. The vets show you how its done so pay attention……HHFanatic

The Girls Look Sooo Good….Next

This is around the time I was in highschool (Lehman H.S In The Bronx). Nothin but bad Latinas was around. Takin the train from Pelham Bay to Westchester Square in the mornings was crazy. It was sort of like Juice(The Movie) when I woke up to go to school back then. First we all met up then on the train we went….Most of us had train & bus passes but whoever didn’t hopped the train. We made sure transit police wasn’t around the corner. The lady in the both would always yell “Sir Pay Your Fair”. Sometimes a DT would come out of the both from hiding and catch us. Other times it was all good….First stop before we got to school I would have to jump on street fighter in a convenience store under the 6. I was nice with Ken & Ryu. We were always late to home room. Man those times can’t be forgotten…….L.Boogz/L.Barrio

Update!!! I peeped the mistake…..We’ll get the other side to you tomorrow…..L
