Channel Live ft KRS-1 – Mad Izm

They blessed the site so its only right. This is Channel Live. I remember buying this single on tape. I might be biased but 90s rap was the highest peak in hiphop for creativity and rawness. Maybe someone else could argue for 80s rap, (or 70s rap). I welcome the debate. Peace….HHFanatic

My h.s. junior year anthem. This shyt bangs even today. You right HHF, the 90’s was mad crazy. The late 80’s was hard though, G Rap, KRS, Kane, Rakim.

      Yeah that beat is raw!

I agree, late 80s definetly got some good moments.

    • MiamiDaze 9:28 pm on August 13, 2007 Permalink | Reply

Sorry, like Swizz said why should he battle someone who hasn’t put forth an album? Pap has skills but him against Cassidy….. I put my dough on Cassidy. Niccas best not forget where they get they battle sytles from. And mook v millz isn’t the same as two big time record labels (Double R & ROC) putting there young talent on display.

yea cass shitted on dude a few times 6ut mook shitted on him right 6acc! let’s keep it 100, da only reason cass & swiss running dat “y 6attle niggaz dat ain’t established shit” is 6cuz the artist dat’s established (cass) would have more to lose catching a L n a 6attle then any other nigga mentioned! I don’t think cass scared 6ut he know it’s a possi6ility those niggaz we all mentioned have a good if not great chance @ defeating him! + mook was right what hood nigga can’t use $20,000. shit if i’m sitting on hov $ i’ll take 20gs from a nigga if it’s eazy $ & dat’s real tizzalk my niggaz!

    • TAF 12:52 am on August 14, 2007 Permalink | Reply

cass said he would battle for $20gz but mook didn’t have it

    • titan 9:10 am on August 14, 2007 Permalink | Reply

cass nice but he got to much props over a nigga like free that aint a battle cat, if that was pap or mook or some nigga with heat there will be no cassidy existing today

    • young imso... 7:04 pm on August 14, 2007 Permalink | Reply

actually cass said he’ll 6attle 4 $100,000 or “something worth his wild”! he said 4 da $20,000 he’ll let 1 of his young 6oys 6ite dat ni66a mook head off! the way i c it, is 6attling is just like 6oxing! a ni66a can 6eat a lot of dudes wit his style 6ut it’s always someone out there dat have ya #! let me prove my point! mook vs. jae millz (millz won) right den dat ni66a millz 6attled shellz & lost! now do anybody think shellz can 6eat mook n a 6attle, hell no!

    Cassidy VS Papoose…A No Go

Cassidy has been eating MCs for years. His lyrical pedigree is one of the best in the game. But out of the new dudes — new meaning they never released an album — Papoose is looked at as one of the greats. Well, what if the two battled? Wow. Apparently a showdown was being talked about at the battle breeding ground, New York’s Fight Klub, where MCs’ freestyling skills are tested and the results are released on DVD. But don’t count on it ever happening. (More …)

It seems a lot like Cass is the one bitchin out though. He can’t even say he’s a bitch himself. He got Swiss to do it for him. He knows Pap would bring it to him. He don’t want to lose cause it will look bad for his so called “business”

Beans Replies To Kanye’s Peace Offering

In an interview with MTV News, Beanie Sigel says he has no beef with Kanye West and Roc-A-Fella Records even asked him to appear on the remix for ‘Ye’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing.” The supposed conflict between the Broad Street Bully and the Louis Vuitton Don originated when Beans hinted Pharrell and Kanye were “gay” in an interview with QD3.com. Then, last week, footage from an upcoming Smack DVD surfaced with Kanye addressing Beanie’s comments. (More …)
