Foxy Brown Starts Independent Label With Koch Records
8/14/2007 New York, NY- Foxy Brown leaves Def Jam to start an independent label which will be distributed through Koch Records. Last Wednesday night, August 8, Foxy Brown closed a deal with Koch Records which makes her the first female star MC to have an independent label at Koch. Although the exact terms of the deal were not disclosed, label sources revealed it was a multi-million dollar negotiation that signed after office hours. I’ll put money on the fact that .50 gunna cop a few hundred thousand of his own album just to say hes the better rapper coz he “sold more” than kanye. He keeps mentioning he sold 12 mil 4 years ago… but he aint gettin nowhere near that..
