According to recent reports on Mediatakeout.com, J.R. Rotem’s “suicidal” protegee Sean Kingston is set to play the The Notorious B.I.G. in a new biopic.
“When I first heard about that movie, it was through management. They told me (and) I auditioned for it and I met with the director. I nailed it and he gave me a shot now at being in the movie.”, says Kingston.
I’m assuming Kingston will be playing the younger version of Biggie.. No word on who’s playing the ‘adult’ version of him, yet. My guess is they looking at Guerrilla Black. Remember him? He was signed with Czar Management (also Game’s mgmt)…Not sure if he still is. The similarities in their flow is almost spooky. Obviously, the lyrical content isn’t the same.. but I think he’d be the best fit for the job. Who do you guys think should play him? Or do some of you think there shouldn’t be a movie at all? ~Speed

I was listen to a black track…It is rather erie how alike they sound. The heaviness in the voice, is just like the Great BIG. That would be the best move right now UNLESS…there is some No Name actor, trying to get on, but can’t because he is to dark and heavy for the {movie industry} Other than that G. Black best choice!
