Harlem Diplomat Jim Jones has the highest selling hip-hop debut this week after moving 94K copies of his 3rd solo LP Hustler’s P.O.M.E. The Koch Records release lands at #6 on the Billboard Top 200, closely trailed by Lil Wayne and Baby’s joint album, Like Father, Like Son, which sold another 72k to grab the #7 spot. Other debut records that charted this week include Kansas City’s Tech N9ne at #50 (21K) with his latest Everready (The Religion) and Houston’s Z-Ro at #75 (14K) with his new disc I’m Still Living. Elsewhere on the charts we see Mississippi natives Cadillac Don & J-Money debut at #156, moving just under 7K copies of their inaugural LP Look At Me. Miami rapper Pitbull fell several spots since his debut at #17 last week, moving to #57 with an additional 19K copies of El Mariel.
